Manager: Our client, a growing injection molder, has opportunity

qualified QC Manager. Will be
responsible for ensuring that quality standards are defined and
followed to
meet customer expectations. Establish and maintain product assurance
standards,
procedures and controls. Establish departmental goals. Work with
Product
Managers to establish checkpoints for testing new products and
processes. You will train and supervise
personnel as to
equipment operation and safety requirements. Primary focus will be to

sigma or lean manufacturing, SPC, tooling skills and budget
responsiblities. Willing to work various shifts and hours, including

injection molding industry. This person will manage project from
concept to
finished product. This candidate needs experience in high volume and
cross-functional teams in manufacturing. Must
have plastics design, development and product design
background.
Candidate will be in charge of 2-4 Engineers that will include Project
Engineering,
Manufacturing Engineering and Product Design and responsible for
resolving
manufacturing problems, implementing process improvements, managing
plant
projects, tool maintenance and optimizing line set-ups. This
manager must
have strong hands-on experience in assembly, tooling, design and
processing
experience in the injection molding industry and have 3+ years’
